Description:
Have you mastered the balance between creativity and technology? Do you want to be part of a company that is changing the way software is developed and used? The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for a line of business support on complex Enterprise Application implementations. The Systems Engineer will be the primary technical and process expert in their service area and will work in collaboration with developers, business stakeholders, and other technology teams that impact their end-to-end business process area of expertise. Daily activities will include but are not limited to, resolving technical and functional support issues, performing trend analysis and identifying enhancements to reduce support requests, and collaborating with development teams to improve the design of new functionality. The successful candidate must be agile and able to support multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Understands all aspects of Enterprise application configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to ongoing releases
  • You must have a solid foundation in any one of the programming languages
  • You will be responsible for debugging complex code, reviewing technical design, implementation of monitoring systems, building automation, and deploying to production
  • You must provide expertise on the system governance, API's, profiles, and security model
  • Maintains updated system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures
  • Drive continuous improvements to achieve & sustain a stable production environment through effective incident & problem management/ service improvement plans.
  • Actively transfers knowledge throughout the organization, participates in knowledge sharing projects to develop best practices, leads knowledge sharing sessions, and mentors junior staff and new hires
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify technology modifications that will impact business processes
  • Provides support of all system/service components, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support
  • Partner with various teams to implement new functionality via Agile based processes; activities include service planning, configuration, operational readiness assessments, run list reviews, and code deployments
  • Manages tasks and projects in a fast-paced support environment, driving all issues to resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficient task execution
  • Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all written security policies, SOX procedures, and change management controls

Required Skills :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or another related technical field
  • 6+ years experience of development and support of enterprise applications aligned to a business unit or platform, handling all aspects including, case management and platform maintenance
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Software development
  • Good understanding of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and concepts
  • Experience with sandbox and production deployments
  • Experience with database concepts and data modeling capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage overall business initiative or several components of a large, complex project with direct experience in Agile and Scrum;
  • Service-oriented attitude and customer focus with a keen eye towards various trends in application support and platform administration and look for process improvements and automation to offset manual work.
  • Ability to engage with emotional intelligence as required to avoid conflicts with customers based on personality differences and to make suggestions in a manner that is more likely to result in the desired outcome
  • Good project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups
  • Familiarity with SOX protocols, Change Management, and Release Management principles and processes
  • Must be a self-starter and Salesforce enthusiast who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player with a service-oriented attitude and customer focus

Salesforce Platform

  • 6+ years previous Salesforce application development or support with a minimum 300-seat environment handling all aspects of CRM, Case management, and platform maintenance
  • 2+ years of experience programming in Triggers, Apex Code, Lightning pages, and Visualforce Pages
  • 2+ Experience with Java, C++, Ruby, or Python
  • 2+ Experience Object-Oriented design and programming, and MVC
  • 2+ Experience of HTML, CSS, and Javascript (JS)
  • Experience with Conga/Apttus for CPQ and CLM, DocuSign for Salesforce
  • Experience with Salesforce developer toolkit including Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, and Web Service
  • Excellent understanding of Salesforce's Web Services and a good understanding of Salesforce SOQL, SOSL, and security model
  • Understanding of best practices regarding Salesforce implementations, including design patterns, release management, deployment strategies, and testing best practices
  • Minimum of 3 SFDC Certifications with at least 1 developer certification on Force.com platform

Desired Skills(Common):

  • Minimum of 3 SFDC Certifications with at least 1 developer certification on Force.com platform
  • Master's degree in a relevant business or technical discipline
  • Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Certification
  • Experience with HTML/XHTML, jQuery, Javascript, AJAX, SQL, SOAP, REST, JSON, Apex, SOQL
  • Experience with Java and J2EE related technologies
  • Knowledge of on-demand CRM and platform technologies and their integrations to ERP systems.
  • Ability to support FTP and API integrations
  • Experience with Salesforce ecosystem and products
