We are seeking multiple highly-motivated systems engineers to tackle a variety of assignments across our teams in the Engineering and Technology organization. Common themes for these roles are model based systems engineering, CAD design and consumption, emerging technology innovation, and advanced visualization. This could include a wide range of potential assignments in the Model-Based Engineering (MBE) and Augmented Reality (AR) domains.

You will help grow a team of experts in MBE and AR technology deployment and maturation, leading to growth for the individual in other domains. This role will have you work as a contributing member, planning and executing the technical road map underpinning our broader digital transformation journey, developing and deploying disruptive technology, and reimagining how we do engineering at Lockheed Martin.

Additionally, candidate will have familiarity with hardware engineering that can be leveraged in support various MBE initiatives. You will need to be comfortable learning new concepts quickly, solve challenging problems, and apply that understanding to the MBE products, tools, and capabilities. Successful candidates will be comfortable in a self-starter environment and supporting the team with an intrapreneurial mindset. Ability to obtain a clearance will be beneficial but is not required.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Systems, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering preferred• Understanding of MBE, MBSE, SysML and related tools• Experience performing Systems Engineering activities • Ability to solve complex problems to align with the bigger picture• Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance

- Demonstrated Presentation Skills• Shop Floor production experience• Experience use CAD and knowledge of manufacturing processes• Leadership experience• Has a passion for new and emerging technology• Mechanical Design and/or Manufacturing experience• Proficiency with ASME Y14.5M Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Standards• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms, materials, and analysis• Familiar with mechanical hardware manufacturing processes• Experience or knowledge of tools such as EPDM, Windchill, and PTC Creo, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Solumina, VE-CAMS, Vuforia, PiXYZ, Unity, Worklink Create, ModelCenter, Zuken, TWC, Cameo, DOORS, Syndeia, SDM• Experience or knowledge of Mechanical Engineering industry standards, processes, and applicable federal requirements• Experience or knowledge of Control Account Management (CAM) and Basis of Estimates (BOE) practices and processes• Software development and/or coding experience (HTML, API Integration, IIoT, scripting, etc)• IT/software deployment and troubleshooting• Software assessment and validation• Advanced visualization and/or augmented reality experience
Has a Top Secret security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
