Your Career

A major challenge to cybersecurity today is our inability to leverage massive scales of data for our defense. To meet this challenge, Palo Alto Networks recently announced our new category-defined product, Cortex XSIAM, an AI-driven platform that can revolutionize the way data, analytics, and automation are leveraged by security organizations. Our new AI-driven platform brings threat response times from days to minutes and provides a modern alternative to SIEM. Learn more by checking out our recent press release and blog .

We are building a new team to support this product and we are looking for proven top performers to join us. Our organization is one that’s dynamic, high-energy, and highly collaborative. This product is new to Palo Alto Networks, so if you have an inner entrepreneurial spirit, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments, and are looking to disrupt and change the world of security operations then this organization is the right one for you. 

Your Impact

Working together with the XSIAM RSM you will be responsible for the selling efforts of our new category-defined product, XSIAM, an AI-driven platform that can revolutionize the way data, analytics and automation are leveraged by security organizations. 

  • You and your RSM will be responsible for delivering both net new customers and converting existing Cortex customers to XSIAM covering accounts in the West. 

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers working with your RSM and the local partners within your territory

  • Identify and document specific problems with prospective and current customers which can be solved through the deployment of integrated solutions.

  • Architect and propose validated solutions that address the identified cybersecurity problems in each unrivaled environment

  • Ensure ongoing customer happiness, support, and adoption

  • Act as the customer advocate for any issues that require technical assistance and follow up with the customer until the issue is resolved.

  • Continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain technical leadership of applicable technologies (SecOps, Scripting, public cloud, security, networking, etc.)

  • Understand and effectively differentiate against our top competitors

Location: We are open to remote locations on the East Coast including New York, Washington DC, Atlanta, & Charlotte

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 4+ years of selling or deploying SIEM to enterprise to large enterprise-level accounts.

  • 4+ years of experience as a successful pre-sales SE, systems integrator, or equivalent experience evaluating complex multivariate problems and finding a systematic approach to gain a quick resolution, often under duress.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally

  • Self-motivated and superb organizational skills

  • "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance

  • Prior startup experience, experience being one of first SEs into an organization

  • Understand and effectively present our security platform to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience and knowledge of modern network threats and malware, network forensics, automation tools and technologies, and endpoint security technologies

  • Significant industry certifications (SANS, CISSP, CCIE, etc.)

If hired in Colorado, this position starts at $237,100/yr. Depending on the position offered, restricted stock units and incentive or bonus pay may be provided as part of this compensation package.
