Your Role and Responsibilities

Do you have a passion for software testing and applying modern engineering practices? The z/OS File System squad is seeking a tester to design and develop test plans and test cases, to test functionality, and stress/load capability, of the z/OS File System component. Candidates will work closely with teammates to provide a world-class File System infrastructure on z/OS with the reliability, availability, serviceability, and security, that exceeds our clients expectations. The z/OS File System team operates as a self-directed Agile squad with all team members working collaboratively throughout our development and test processes.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities for this position include:
- Participation in design discussions and reviews
- Participation in the end-to-end test process, from unit test through system test
- Design and creation of test plans to exercise mainline and recovery code paths
- Creation of zFS file systems
- Design and development of automated test cases and regression buckets
- Deployment of workloads and testcase execution
- Identification, debug and solution of test blockers
