The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking experienced Systems Engineers to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. As a member of the NGI team, you will perform tasks related to the development of the overall system integration and test. You should have a complete understanding of the system subject areas with the opportunity to work in all fields to include systems definition, allocation, maintenance, verification/validation, system integration, analysis, and test.

In addition, you will:

Participate in the planning/execution of Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) electrical floor operations.• Have excellent organization and troubleshooting skills and be proficient in understanding hardware/software design, requirements generation, product development, logistics, test execution, and verification activities.• Be willing to work in a 24/7 operations environment which may include some overtime and support off-shifts and/or weekends/holidays• Support the SEIT group with major program reviews including SRR, PDR, and CDR.• Participate in Specification and Interface Control Document development, as well as support the process to include the development of Test Plans.• Support missile system analyses in support of mission planning and execution as well as tests at various test ranges.• Be involved in all phases of the project development (e.g., architecture development, CONOPS, definition, qualification, integration assembly, and test)• Work in a team environment and collaborate with multiple disciplines, program management, and customers to help drive to a complete solution

Typically you will possess a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications

Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Experience with Logistics Test and Evaluation (LT&E)

Have a Current and active DoD Secret Clearance

Desired skills

Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering

Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Life Cycle Logistics certifications

Quality Assurance Inspector Certified

Experience in Space Vehicle (SV) Test Operations including the unit level test development process, test planning, test execution, data analysis, anomaly resolution, software test systems

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $88,700 - $147,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
