Do you have a vision for the creation and implementation of future systems? As a System Integration Lead in the NAND Product Development Team, you will be responsible for enabling the development of high value system solutions concurrent with the latest NAND technology and feature developments! We are the NAND development representatives and function as points of contact for system development. We ensure that system findings and relevant data are used to strengthen NAND development. You will lead outstanding people to navigate challenges and build high value solutions with the systems you are representing. With the focus on system development priorities, we set the road map, and work within the team to ensure those priorities are executed. We bring value by representing customer requirements and opportunities, finding successful solutions regarding NAND capability and system needs, as well as delivering groundbreaking integration of NAND and systems!
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the newest technology and product enablement. You will work with a highly dedicated, focused, and deeply diverse team to deliver solutions that are outstanding from both the perspective of technology and capability. You will be working closely with experts from Design, Technology Development, SSD and Mobile System Architects, Media Architecture Group, Product Engineering, BU, Manufacturing, and other operational and development groups.
Responsibilities:

  • Drive and direct technical inputs and silicon-system alignment on requirements and commitments using the Success Criteria Document.
  • Work together with Media Architecture / System Architecture / Business Units / Apps / Technology Development to resolve any gaps between NAND specs and system requirements.
  • Direct NAND achievements and sample delivery schedules in sync with system development timeline
  • Own capability benchmarking for all NAND sample deliveries
  • Provide System development teams with relevant documentation, and drive meetings to garner approval from partners
  • Understand sample usage/potential challenges with requirements and Coordinate mitigations with system team, MAG, TD, NAND PE - to develop workaround
  • Communicate accurate priorities within NAND Development team to maintain focus on achieving system specs and highlight concerns to both Component and System teams for any issues.
  • Own resolution and communication of issues with NAND System Integration.


Requirements:
Successful candidates for this position will demonstrate:

  • Focus on succeeding within a globally diverse engineering environment with a strong development focus
  • Keen interest in developing NAND for system solutions, understanding of system product needs
  • Desire to develop knowledge and expertise in understanding NAND-system interaction
  • A solid understanding of system firmware/design is not a pre-requisite, but would be preferred
  • Good knowledge of NAND device/design is not a pre-requisite, but would be an added advantage
  • Prior working knowledge on system media management, SSD/mNAND/NAND would be an added advantage
  • Prior experience in leading product development projects or acting in similar capacity would be of added advantage.
  • Effective interpersonal skills in written and spoken English


Education:

  • Position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related subject areas
