JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Sr. Test Engineer
Job Description: Develop test plans and scripts for web-based software in a team-oriented environment using agile development methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Document test plans, test scenarios and test scripts.
- Execute test scripts and fully document all defects.
- Work with development team to resolve defects.
- Interface with development team to understand requirements and improve SW test effectiveness.
- Actively participate in developing & improving existing testing scenarios and test cases.
- Work on multiple testing activities in parallel.
Qualifications and skills:
- 2 years of experience testing web-based applications.
- Knowledge of test processes and test case development
- Experience documenting test plans and test scripts.
- Experience with automated test tools and script development is a plus.
- Experience in Agile development methodology.
- Knowledge of Java based development tools a plus.
- Ability to work with a diverse team - must be a team player.
- Keen attention to details and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills.
- 508 testing experience especially with Screen reader tools such as JAWS is a plus.
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience.
Clearance: The candidate must also be able to pass a security background check, including a credit check. The clearance is a Public Trust level.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline.
Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
