Senior Software Engineer

Develops, modifies and codes software systems programming applications. Maintains and enhances software systems by fixing complicated errors. Familiar with the principles and practices of existing software systems development. Utilizes extensive experience to analyze problems and find out solutions independently.

Requires 4-7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Work remote from your home office

With these qualifications...

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or related or equivalent work experience
• Experience: 5+ years experience in software development
• Back-End: Proficient in Golang, Python or Java, REST API
• Front-End: Proficient with JavaScript, experience with Ember, React, or Angular
• Cloud: AWS S3, EC2, ECS, ECR, Cloudwatch, Lambda
• Database: SQL, Postgres, Redshift
• Tools: Jira, Git, Slack
• CICD: CircleCI, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform
• Logging: Datadog, Loggly, TIG (Telegraph / InfluxDb / Grafana) or ELK (Elasticsearch / Logstash / Kibana)
• Application Monitoring: Datadog, Instana or New Relic
• Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (remote option available)

Are Super Cool if you have...

• Production experience using Django ORM
• Production experience using Kafka
• Production experience using Looker API
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Azure Cloud
• Any AWS certifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field desired
