Description:As a Sustainment Engineer you will perform key technical engineering support for the repair and return program of inbound and outbound line replaceable units for the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon system. You will support engineering design drawing changes required for the fielded system, ensure packaging of parts to Military Standard requirements are met, and manage spare part configuration control. You will work as a liaison to support hardware engineering in system development, test, and manufacturing of ground support hardware. The following are examples of duties that may be included:• Reviewing technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies, perform requirements analysis, coordinate technical exchange meetings, develop presentation material, and handle peer reviews• Generate or review engineering reports, drawings, flow charts, and schedules• Maintain log books of hardware returned for repair and troubleshooting from the field. Use computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.• Assess spare parts upon receipt and shipment to ensure quality standards are met• Attend daily and weekly team meetings to discuss technical, schedule and operation issues.
Basic Qualifications:• Experience working in an engineering environment in manufacturing and production of hardware• Basic understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) principles as well as the ability to interpret, generate, and present technical material and problem solve• Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail to create high-quality work products• Ability to work in a fast paced, high work volume, highly technical, small team environment• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance• Ability to travel as required (minimum of 10 percent)
Desired Skills:• Experience working in a manufacturing and production environment• Familiar with Technical Data Package reviews • Experience reviewing engineering drawings and quality reviews• Ability to tackle detailed technical assignment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
