Full Stack Engineer - Shared Technology Team
About Us:
Store No. 8 as an Augmented Reality studio based in the Seattle area. We are a team of engineers, designers, innovators and creators dedicated to paving the way for augmented reality applications in the retail space. Our focus is on functional use cases that merge diverse data streams and personalized information with specific physical locations to create productive and entertaining immersive real-world shopping experiences.
About The Role:
We're seeking a full stack engineer to work in our shared technologies team. In this role you will help define, execute, and deliver a product roadmap for the AR Consumer teams that use our shared technology platform.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Team leadership and client engineers to gather requirements and build components, features and tools at all layers of the software stack.
  • Work will cover web tools, using modern frameworks, Azure backend services and even work in Unity game engine.
  • Work with QA to ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Promote engineering/operation excellence and improve standards, toolings, and processes.


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of industrial experience in software engineering using at least one modern languages preferably C#
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful/JSON/XML.
  • Hands on proficiency with Azure services.
  • Industrial experiences developing web applications using React, Angular or other modern javascript framework.
  • Industrial experiences of CI/CD and applying within software development.
  • Strong working knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose.
  • Strong problem solving skills. Familiarity with design patterns, algorithms and other software development skill sets.
  • Industrial experience with databases including RDMS and Nosql.


Optional Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure.
  • Industrial experience of Python.
  • Knowledge or experience using Unity game engine.
