About the Role
Drive overall hardware Architecture, roadmap and technology strategy for Storage Servers and solutions.
• Understand overall Infrastructure stack and work with internal stakeholders to define TCO optimized IaaS solutions while clearly understanding technology and cost tradeoffs for both Cloud and On-Prem solutions. • Define the overall system architecture which includes the ( rack systems, servers, and management software)• Drive performance and efficiency related initiatives• Collaborate with software teams to define the hardware performance requirements needed to best support the software needs• Drive cross-functional teams on these critical and high profile system projects• Ensure deep understanding of critical performance requirements, ROI, TCO, limits of technology per design generation, industry adoption rate of new technology, and technology roadmaps
