The Cloud Infrastructure Storage team works with some of the most innovative and advanced storage technologies in the business, delivering world-class service for both internal teams and external customers. Role
As a manager within Cloud Infrastructure Storage, you will oversee a technically diverse team of storage engineers. You and your team will help determine what's next for ServiceNow's storage infrastructure while ensuring the scale, performance and reliability of the storage fleet meets and exceeds requirements.

- Ensure that all storage capacity, reliability and performance needs can be met, on schedule.
- Drive and maintain mutually beneficial, direct partnerships with established hardware vendors.
- Be responsible for mid-tier escalations for complex hardware issues in the field.
- Participate in budget planning and forecasting for storage-related expenses.
- Ensure storage infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Define and improve processes, automations, and tooling to continuously benefit your team's efficacy and our customers' experiences.
- Collaborate with other managers and teams across the organization to ensure seamless integration of work and participate in department-level or company-wide meetings and initiatives.
- Review industry trends and developments, continually learn and ensure team members are trained on new technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- A servant-leader management philosophy.
- 2+ years managing hardware technology team(s) delivering highly reliable infrastructure services.
- 7+ years in enterprise technology operations, engineering and/or architecture with a record of increasing role responsibility.
- A strong understanding of enterprise class storage hardware with experience in diverse HA storage environments (Virtualization, SAN, NVMeoF, Object).
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead complex projects, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to function independently in ambiguous situations with a record of success.
- Excellent communication & customer skills: conflict management, and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to communicate at a level appropriate to the audience.
For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $123,750 - $216,450, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
