Q2 is seeking an innovative and passionate Full Stack Engineer to help build an industry changing FinTech platform. This engineer will be part of a dynamic team that is helping to deliver the next version of our back-office reporting platform and will be integral to its success. This role has proven experience delivering front-end and middle-layer components that enable end-users to have a quick, seamless experience in the app.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop innovative new tools for our customers to utilize for reporting and data visualizations
  • Assist with development of front-end features as well as middle layer tooling to enable the best customer experience
  • Active participation in scrum ceremonies including grooming, sprint planning, standups, sprint demos, and retrospectives
  • Support, maintain and resolve problems with software in live production systems
  • Ensure compliance with all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience
  • Experience in designing and creating API layers and development of front-end single-page JavaScript applications
  • Proven skills with advanced JavaScript frameworks (Ember, Vue, Angular, React)
  • Proven skills in Python, Node.js, or other related backend languages 
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 
  • Experience working with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence
  • Experience integrating with backend systems and understanding data flow 
  • Strong object-oriented coding practice and automated unit testing experience 

PREFERRED: 

  • You are a master at the command line 
  • You know advanced Git techniques and workflows
  • Experience with VueJs and Python
  • Experience with building APIs and working with web components
