Job Description

Our Software as a Service (SaaS) business is an exciting new area of growth focused on the full continuum of out-of-hospital care settings. The team is building a global portfolio of connected software and services designed to drive more choices and better outcomes for patients and providers. We are looking for individuals with a strategic mindset, business acumen, an entrepreneurial outlook, strong technical capabilities and a "get it done" attitude to help fulfill our vision as the leader in out of hospital solutions.

The Staff Software Engineer is a key contributor to the Brightree Technology Pharmacy team. This role focuses on clear ownership of our product from cradle-to-grave. Development responsibilities include analysis, design, programming, performance, security, quality assurance, and Tier 3 support. This pivotal role serves to guarantee delivered technical solutions meet the needs of the Brightree Organization with specific focus on Development, Security, Product, Implementation, Support, and Documentation Teams. In addition, this is the principal role for migrating our product to a full cloud-native architecture.

Let's talk about skills and experience:

• Strong experience in software engineering, specifically using Microsoft technologies in a web-based application
• Deep knowledge of .NET (C#), ASP.NET, .NET Core and web technologies such as SignalR, Web API, WCF, REST, View.js, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Ajax.
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server (TSQL/SQL) in a high-volume transaction environment
• OO knowledge and practical experience of design patterns
• Practical experience with source code configuration, versioning and promotion
• Excellent problem solving, issue identification and technical documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and meeting deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience using MS Visual Studio, SQL Server, git, and yml CI/CD pipelines
• Agile software methodology experience
• Experience working in a SaaS model
• Experience in cloud-native architectures
• Strong experience working in environments with a DevOps Culture and Continuous Integration & Delivery
