Staff Engineer - Salesforce
The Staff Salesforce Developer will be responsible for implementation, delivering, and supporting application lifecycle projects utilizing commercial, open-source, and custom-developed software by partnering with Sales, Marketing, Service, Technology and Finance stakeholders. He/she will actively participate in the multi-year implementation and expansion of the SFDC platforms at http://move.com .
What you'll do:
- Gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions, and production issues reported by end-users
- Serve as the Applications Lead for Salesforce and CRM-related applications; understand and communicate functionality, identify risks, manage change and design solutions that are efficient, scalable, and cost-effective.
- Lead end-to-end technical solution architecture working with other squads, architects, engineers, business analysts as needed.
- Own and deliver cross-functional solutions encompassing Sales, Service, Marketing to bring in efficiencies and streamline processes.
- Work with SOA middleware such as Oracle to design, deploy and deliver REST /SOAP-based services in a high volume platform
- Partner with ERP and CRM stakeholders to analyze, understand and improve sales/service and finance operations that increase employee productivity and end-user effectiveness
- Create business process models using best practice techniques, including current and future state solution design documents using requirements gathered
- Design solutions and technical specifications for technical team members.
- Deliver custom solutions on Salesforce platform utilizing Apex triggers, classes, Lightning, SOQL and configurations as needed.
- Deep dive and research production system issues, resolve user problems, and escalate when necessary
- Rollup sleeves and participates in a wide spectrum of skills when required
What you'll bring:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- Experience with pricing, product configuration, bundling, and rendering in a high volume environment is a big plus
- Experience with heavy duty customizations on the SFDC stack
- 8+ years of work experience in application development and architecture role supporting Sales/Marketing and Finance organization
- Must have experience working and building custom applications on the http://force.com platform.
- Strong backend services / API development experience, preferably using PHP/Node.js and REST/JSON
- Experience with data integration technologies that import/export data with http://Salesforce.com ;
- Experience developing invoices and statements function http://Salesforce.com
- Experience with custom solutions on the Salesforce platform includes working on Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce,SOQL queries, components, and Configurations
- A strong mix of experience with Java , JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML5, AWS, MVC, API, SQL, and Python
- Strong and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Must be comfortable with juggling multiple priorities with the ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills
- Salesforce Technical Architect certification is a plus
