What the role is:
We are looking for a passionate Staff DevOps Engineer with excellent CI/CD skills. He/she will be responsible for maintaining a CI/CD infrastructure that is high on reliability, speed and flexibility to ensure that developers and QA have the best CI/CD infrastructure to work with. The person will own the responsibility for designing, modernizing and managing a large and complex CI/CD setup for a SaaS product hosted in the cloud. The job involves optimizing, migrating and modernizing the CI/CD infrastructure using different DevOps Tools.
What you’ll Bring:
- Experience in building pipelines for large scale microservices.
- Experience in designing and developing a modern CI infrastructure using Git/Jenkins/Maven/Gradle/Bazel or similar tools.
- Experience in building release pipelines for a complex SDLC using Argo CD/Spinnaker/Jenkins/Helm.
- Experience in setting up build pipeline monitoring solutions.
- Hands-on experience in working with multiple build tools.
- Experience in troubleshooting build and deployment issues.
- Expertise in build tool migration and modernization (Maven to Gradle/Bazel).
- Experience in integrating code coverage, SAST and DAST tools to build pipelines.
- Experience in owning build tools for Java and other languages like javascript and golang.
- Experience in running Kubenetes based cloud applications.
- Experience in creating self service solutions in the CI/CD domain.
- Proficiency in workflow automation and seamlessly integrating multiple DevOps Tools.
- Experience in working in a multi region cloud infrastructure, HA and DR.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years experience in build tools and build automation.
- Prior AWS or other public cloud experience.
- Experience in Linux administration and bash scripting.
- Good documentation and communication skills,
- Willing to learn new technologies and familiar with the latest developments in the devops field.
