Job Description Summary
Reponsible for leading, consulting or overseeing multiple architectural engagements. Will work on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge within technical, solutions, business or information domains.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Maintain cloud security architecture frameworks based on standards, best practices and industry research
  • Assess threats to existing and emerging technology and develop appropriate countermeasures
  • Increase compliance automation capabilities across IaaS and PaaS (serverless) environments
  • Architect best practices, secure configurations and requirements for teams leveraging Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS).
  • Work in active partnership with program leads and stakeholders to develop and promote secure design patterns.
  • Lead projects to drive the assessment, operationalization and adoption of new cloud-based security countermeasures, technologies, platforms and tools.
  • Facilitate and help mature cloud service management and cybersecurity processes including change management, incident response, configuration management, threat and vulnerability management.
  • Maintain and participate in agile project planning
  • Develop cloud security architecture awareness and outreach to partner teams based on known threats, vulnerability and defect data.
  • Document cloud security architecture patterns and requirements

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (IS), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university;
  • 7 Years of experience securing cloud Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, AWS and Azure)
  • 4 Years of experience with secure systems design in cloud (AWS and Azure)
  • 4 Years of experience with *Nix operating systems (Linux, UNIX, BSD, etc)
  • 3 Years of experience automating cloud compliance (third party and cloud provider tooling such as AWS Config, Azure Policy, Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • 3 Years of experience with Security Operations and/or Incident Response, preferably in cloud and visualizing cloud security event data

Desired Characteristics:
  • Strategic thinker, with experience planning and executing multiyear application security roadmaps
  • Ability to define program KPIs and metrics
  • Advanced degree In Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience leveraging agile methods within project efforts
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, CSA or CIS.
  • Experience with multiple security domains - IAM, Data Protection, Vulnerability Management, Product Security
  • Experience with leveraging visualization tools to present compliance data
  • Exposure to Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
  • Knowledge of encryption fundamentals: PKI, Digital Signatures and Key Management.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud provider security architecture design patterns.
  • Knowledge of SIEM systems, content delivery
  • Knowledge of API security architecture and technologies.
  • Development and scripting experience (Python, PowerShell)
