Dragos is seeking a Staff Back-End Engineer to join our dynamic and talented engineering team. The successful candidate will have a passion for software development, tremendous attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and a desire to work in a fast-paced and highly productive project-based team. Responsibilities

• Work closely within a single scrum team to build features in support of the Dragos products
• Work collaboratively with a variety of scrum teams to ensure all components function together for the overall system
• Design and build modular components
• Develop production code for new features and bug fixes
• Design and write automated tests
• Participate in peer code reviews and pull requests

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with JVM languages such as Kotlin, Java, or Groovy
• Must have Agile/Scrum experience
• Experience contributing to a scrum team backlog, with product owner experience a plus
• Experience with unit and automated testing frameworks
• US Permanent Resident, US Citizen, or Canadian Citizen (Must be able to pass background checks)

Compensation

• Base Salary: $192,000
• Base + Benefits + Equity = $320,000
• Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K with match)
• Equity at Dragos is quickly growing and the total compensation under-represents the future growth and refresh program. This will be discussed on the first call with the Dragos recruiter.
