Job Description: Senior Front-End Developer

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, dynamic Senior Front-End developer to work on modern web and e-commerce applications. As a Senior Front End Developer, you will be working to deliver amazing & performant web experiences, animations, and micro-interactions that are faithful to the designs.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for development of responsive web applications along with other members of the engineering team

Responsible for building micro-interactions and animations and ensure they are web and mobile responsive and extremely performant on the most popular mobile devices and operating systems.

Efficiently work and collaborate with the engineering and design teams.

Responsible for building reusable code and libraries for future use.

Provide progress updates to the team while working on tasks.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor's in information technology, Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience

Qualifications

Qualifications:

5+ years of software development experience with expertise in Web development and Digital technologies, including HTML, CSS, CSS Preprocessing, JavaScript, JQuery, JSP integrations, and Grunt.

Must be able to program with vanilla JavaScript and jQuery; other JS frameworks are a plus.

Java and backend development skills are a big plus.

Experience in building applications and components using Ajax, jQuery, Object Oriented (OO) JavaScript, JSON, and XML.

In-depth knowledge and experience in using CSS3 (Less or SASS) and HTML5 (App Cache, Local storage, Geolocation, SQLite, Device Capabilities access).

Working experience in interfacing with SOAP / REST APIs / Web services.

Familiarity with GIT/Azure DevOps

Proficient in deploying web applications on various web and app servers

Experience working in Agile / Scrum development cycles

Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments.

Strong communication skills.
