Description:Candidate shall have experience with machinery control system architecture development. Candidate should also have experience with integration and test for machinery control systems. The ability to code Programmable Logic controllers is required. Candidate must have demonstrated technical problem-solving skills; ability to see the big picture; ability to conceptualize, develop, and implement solutions; and ability to partner well with internal and external organizations
including the product owner and scrum master. Understanding of the system architectures and how different pieces fit together. Ability to travel to customer sites to troubleshoot systems issues.
Basic Qualifications:
- Performing and providing
technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems
to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing
system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis.
- Experience solving varied technical/scientific problems, and generating architectures
- The ability to solve complex system/integration problems through innovative solutions.
- Able to brief senior level management on technical solutions, cost impacts, and risks.
- Able to develop documentation required to support program technical issues and training situations.
- Able to learn how to develop system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large- scale programs.
- Able to develop, deliver, test and support integrated hardware and software systems with functional requirements.
- Bachelor's level degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering or related technical experience is required.
-Must have the ability to obtain & maintain a secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Technical writings, such as white papers, technical journals.
- Experience performing a variety of tasks related to knowledge/technique dissemination to groups of analytic workforce.

The Lockheed Martin Middle River facility will be closing in 2 years. All of the work for this program will be moving to the Lockheed Martin Moorestown, NJ facility. Depending on your current housing location, relocation will be evaluated at that time.
Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
