Position: Sr. Systems Engineer, Process & Tools Team Lead
Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duties: Draw on experience with both traditional automotive and autonomous driving industry in the areas including requirements management, validation, testing, functional safety, quality management, software development, and knowledge and skills of systems engineering principles and techniques, and Polarion Requirements Management Tool to lead the process and tools team for auto driving car manufacturing. Collaborate with Engineering Managers to ensure design, implementation, and programs are on track, and regularly drive consensus among diverse stakeholders on technical projects. Document requirements, design, analysis, and testing with clarity. Maintain traceability among them. Prepare proposals and models for requirements decomposition ensuring standards compliance. Collaborate effectively with customers and continuously deliver quality results. Establish best practices to foster standardization and consistency among different projects and teams. Work with requirement owners to ensure that all requirements are reviewed and accepted. Work with engineers and data scientists to define outcome metrics and success criteria. Identify and act on opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency. Responsible for Polarion infrastructure. Provide Polarion training and user support for different groups. Annual salary commensurate with experience. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechatronic engineering or a closely related technical/engineering field plus 4 years of experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above.The position is eligible for employee referral program.
