The Endpoint Experience team designs, builds and configures EUC (End User Compute) enterprise technology. Its expertise spans System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, desktop transformation, Operating System Deployment (OSD), Windows OS, virtualized applications/desktops, mobility management platforms, endpoint security, networking principles, technology operations management, and more.
As a Sr. Systems Engineer with expertise in Endpoint Transformation/Modernization; focusing on virtual desktop/application publishing solutions, you will own the development of sophisticated virtual solutions. You will drive and contribute to both strategic and operational activities for all EUC virtualization environments and services. Day to day responsibilities will include leading additional virtualization engineers, collaborating with partner technology teams (infrastructure, cloud, enterprise architecture, networking, security, application teams), providing overall health status and metrics to leadership, continued development and execution of virtualization strategies and roadmaps, and taking overall responsibility for the health, growth and maturity of these end user virtualization services.
Your technical skill set likely includes:

  • Demonstrable experience in EUC engineering and delivery of enterprise scale end user virtualization infrastructure including imaging, provisioning, application delivery, profile virtualization, configuration management, and lifecycle support
  • Well versed with end user computing virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc.)
  • Demonstrable ability to work through common and uncommon challenges seen with the movement of a traditional desktop/application to a virtualized cloud-based environment.
  • Capable in the application of standard methodologies for monitoring and performance optimization of a desktop /application virtualization environment
  • Proficient understanding of other platform technologies and capabilities (Infrastructure Virtualization, Cloud Platforms, Domain Services, Configuration Management, Networking, Automation, etc.)
  • Adept at operating system imaging and management tools such as Intune, DISM, WinPE, MDT, SCCM OSD, Group Policy, and more
  • Experience working in environments with strict IT security policies and change control processes.
  • Strong automation scripting abilities using PowerShell scripts and tool creation
  • Familiar with creation and administration of CI/CD Pipelines; and tools such as Gitlab, Github, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years engineering and supporting Windows client operating systems
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop virtualization, application virtualization/streaming, profile virtualization, and other related technologies
  • Relevant Certifications are a plus
  • Experience with Linux & Mac operating systems a plus
  • Experience with Dell VxRail a plus
  • Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is recommended
