Sr. Systems Administrator II /DevOps Engineer - Minerva

Summary:
Our ONR software team employs an Agile Scrum process to rapidly design, code, and integrate capabilities into a mature Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution. Work includes developing and integrating applications that provision and configure loosely coupled systems and capabilities which can be reused, discovered, and linked to build mission threads.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide general infrastructure and DevOps support for a group of ONR applications
- Secure and troubleshoot LINUX operating systems and networks
- Write Bash or Python scripts to automate securing the network, applications, and operating systems
- Automate deploying and securing applications.
- Writing Ansible playbooks and scripts to install software, create/configure vms, create/configure networks, routers, DNS, etc.
- Writing Ansible playbooks and scripts to create/maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related discipline (e.g. Software Engineering, Computer Engineering)
- 8+ years of professional DevOps experience
- Hands on experience with troubleshooting Linux operating systems and networks
- Ability to write Bash or Python scripts.
- Proficient with Ansible.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems in a RedHat infrastructure environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot networking problems in an on-premise environment as well as in AWS.
- Experience with Virtual Machines, RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and AWS
- Ability to obtain US Security Clearance (Interim SECRET or above)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DNS, LDAP, PKI, and other infrastructure services.
- Familiarity with SELinux and Multi-Level Security architectures
- Experience with Docker, OpenShift, Flux, Helm.
- Experience with Scripting and Deployment Languages (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience implementing access controls (DAC, MAC, RBAC)
- Some software development experience is a plus
