Job Summary:
Serves as a solutions expert , at the business unit level developing the most advanced end-to-end solution architecture for highly complex and significant initiatives in partnership with key business and IT stakeholders. Exposes current state architecture and identifies options for future state architecture. Works closely with business and IT stakeholders creating solutions that balance competing interests and concerns. Develops plans for and facilitates the migration from current to selected future state by providing technical leadership to multiple initiatives. Mentors those in less senior positions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information Systems, business and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Five (5) years work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement.
Job Description:
Supporting business strategies and objectives for FedEx Freight and Freight Direct, position will be responsible for architecting mobile and IoT solutions of applications including the supporting backend services and systems.
Job Responsibilities:• Architect the solutions in coordination with multiple Agile Release Trains (ART)• Solution patterns and integrations• Identify and validate system impacts for strategic objectives• Ensure strategic and tactical alignment of solutions with the development teams• Work with Enterprise/Domain/UX/Application architects on architectural design and documentation• Shape EPIC feature definition and solution decomposition at the SAFe solution-level• Ensure that architecture standards are being followed for solutions• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less-senior team members• Collaboration in the creation of architecture artifacts• Mobile (Android preferred) experience
