About Aeromet

L3Harris -Aeromet is a Division of Integrated Mission Systems Segment and main office is located in Tulsa, OK. L3Harris-Aeromet is established within the DoD Community as the developer and operator of special mission ISR systems. We provide special mission system design, modification, and operations with emphasis on the development and integration of state-of-the-art EO/IR sensor systems.

Description:

• High level of familiarity with data structures/ software patterns / software architecture.
• Object-Oriented Design and Analysis
• Software development primarily on Linux and Windows
• Familiarity with software lifecycle process and software maintainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, with 5-8 years of experience.
• 5-8 yrs software development/maintenance experience.
• 5-8 yrs C, C++ experience in both Linux and Windows.
• Applicant must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with military mission systems is a plus.
• Image processing development experience desired. Algorithm development is a plus.
• Hardware communications interfacing experience is a plus.
• Have a strong desire to learn and innovate
• Possess good interpersonal skills and decision making/critical thinking skills.
• Be dynamic and adaptable to change.
• Set the highest ethical standards for self and others
• The essential physical requirements of the position will be reviewed with the applicant during the interview.
• GUI design and development experience a plus.
• Hardware communications interfacing experience is a plus.
• Containerization (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) experience is a plus.
