• Lead the SRE practices and operations of the system including but not limited to
• APM/Browser/Synthetics/Infrastructure/Log Monitoring and alerting for reliability.
• Updating alerting and monitoring where required
• Provide automation of the support process where necessary
• Standardize and automate for operational aspects of operational problems
• Patch management on regular cadence
• WAF/Shape/UID/Re-Captcha/Threat-Metrix/NESS/Pixel Monitoring and alerting for security.
• Capacity & Cost Monitoring and Alerting
• Performance, Resiliency & Capacity Testing - Execution, Result review & Action items.
• Works between development and operations to maintain balance
• Enhances performance, efficiency, and monitoring of the software development process
• Involved in on-call rotation

Basic Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in software development & operations
• Knowledge of software build cycle which includes experience in automation of CI/CD using Jenkins [Pipeline as Code] and Source control system Git (Advanced branching models)
• Experience in Public Cloud such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure beyond basic IaaS functionality
• Experience evolving to Agile development lifecycles
• Experience in using monitoring tools such as NewRelic/Splunk/Dynatrace/App Dynamics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker containers and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/Openshift, Mesos and/or Swarm
• Engineering experience in building infrastructure using code and repeatable designs, Preferably in Terraform
• Knowledge on Sonar, Helm, Artifactory
• Strong Knowledge on one or more programming language: Java/Go Lang/Python/Shell Scripting/JavaScript
