Job Description

• Develop, own, and improve systems and services to route video streaming traffic to achieve the highest quality streaming delivery possible
• Processing and analysis of client video player performance metrics and CDN backend data
• Working with derived performance metrics to determine the most performant CDN for individual video clients
• Collaborate across teams and vendors to ensure proper integration of systems and evaluate success

Qualifications
• An understanding of end-to-end streaming video delivery including HLS/DASH protocols and CDN management• Experience building production quality scalable services• Familiar with modern code deployment toolchains such as Docker and Kubernetes.• Have a background in maintaining and managing infrastructure as code as well as utilizing modern observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and/or Google Operations• Ability to build and maintain software deployment pipelines using CI/CD practices• Experience with writing microservices in Golang, Java, or other comparable languages• Hands on experience defining and documenting technical requirements and translating them into user stories/accompanying documentation• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols in select work settings or where jurisdictionally mandated.• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
