Position : Senior Software Development Engineer
Job Location: United States : North Carolina : Cary
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in office/2 days remote.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze business needs, national and regional IT systems and market needs, including locale and data regulatory needs and present proposals that include high-level technical solutions, estimates and project plans. Convert business problems into programming instructions to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Design and code programs, create test transactions, run tests and revise as necessary. Monitor operating efficiency of existing application systems, review, analyze and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system, and maintain records to document program development and revisions. Provide technical support to project teams throughout project lifecycle around technology platforms, solution design, security, debugging, profiling, performance tuning and governance over project teams to ensure that standards and best practices are being followed.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience designing and developing applications to ensure that user interface (UI) design and development conform to paperless application business and technical requirements or, alternatively, a master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience designing and developing applications to ensure that user interface (UI) design and development conform to paperless application business and technical requirements. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section unless otherwise stated) -- must possess the following: designing and coding programs using JavaScript, Node.js, Java, AngularJS, ReactJS, Redux, Springboot, Microservices, J2EE, C/C++, HTML5, CSS3, SQL, MySQL or MongoDB; designing, implementing and deploying scalable and performant web applications at global scale; and converting business requirements/problems into programming instructions using Agile or Waterfall.
