As DRAM Silicon Strategy engineers, we are responsible for driving sim2silicon correlations to ensure all current and future products achieve the highest level of accuracy, performance, and quality. Our focus is to find root cause of circuit or modeling mismatches and to partner with teams in Design and Product Engineering on the most effective and efficient solutions. We collaborate with global teams to evaluate and set implementation standards for DRAM features across product families. We are innovators at heart who help define exciting new DRAM features and support the development of groundbreaking new architectures!

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sim2silicon alignment with emphasis on finding root cause to ensure future products do not repeat known circuit issues. Work with Design, Modeling and Technology teams on corrective actions.
  • Ensure the silicon performance of current/future standard circuits meets all manufacturing and design requirements. Standard circuits include analog, digital, and DFT related circuits.
  • Develop new strategies to enable more efficient and effective validation of standard circuits (i.e. char flows/improved BKMs)
  • Drive circuit implementation standards across DRAM product families to achieve outstanding performance, power and reliability. Examples include High-Speed IO and Row Hammer.
  • Support pathfinding and enablement activities on new architectures.


Preferred skills:

  • Circuit debug and root cause analysis experience.
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages (C, python, Unix, bash, etc.) and familiar with production data extraction methods.
  • Wafer and ATE test flow understanding.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills with ability to convey complex technical concepts to peers and management.
  • Strong DFT/DFM background a plus
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment a plus
  • HSPICE/FINESIM/Fullchip/Verilog simulation experience a plus


Education & Experience:

  • BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in Design or Product engineering
