Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) - Pet Health

Engineering plays a critical role in defining and executing our platform roadmap. Your Role:
As a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) on the Pet Health development team, you will lead the design and development of automation testing strategies and frameworks to enable CI/CD processes and ensure speed and quality of software delivery to production. You will set test automation standards for the rest of the engineering team to follow as they build their own stories and associated test automations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze product and technical requirements to develop testing strategies, plans and test cases.
- Design and develop automation test frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Create UI (User Interface) and/or backend automation tests
- Participate in scrum ceremonies such as grooming, planning, demos and retros
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- 5+ years of test design and test automation using tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress or similar technologies
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience designing, building, and deploying applications using Java
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment and using cloud technologies
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or similar technical field of study preferred), or equivalent work experience
Preferred:
- Experience in performance testing
- Experience with HELM charts, Kubernetes or similar tools
- Experience in e-commerce or Healthcare
- Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure or GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
