Pratt & Whitney GatorWorks Advanced Military Engine Programs (AMEP) team in the Engine Design & Systems Integration (EDSI) organization requires an engineering lead of systems analysis functional integration for concept phase design studies on next generation military propulsion systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding external and internal customer requirements, and then developing an integrated propulsion system solution
  • Conducting system level analysis including trade studies of candidate next generation engine architectures and technologies
  • Making recommendations for propulsion system configuration downselection and optimization
  • Balancing customer desires with PW capability
  • Coordinating with module centers, Aero and Systems Design disciplines to assess how the new configuration impacts each module, resolving conflicts to achieve a stabilized system

Basic Qualifications:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Ability to apply for a security clearance


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building and running P&W NPSS performance models and Parametric Engine Models
  • Experience running P&W SOAPP performance models
  • Experience executing system performance analysis for concept design trade studies
  • Demonstrated experience running performance studies independently or leading a performance team
  • Active security clearance
