Job Description

Your Career

We are looking for a software engineering professional with previous team management experience. In addition to managing a team, the successful candidate will also be an active contributor in areas of product design, architecture and/or implementation. This role would be perfect for someone who enjoys a management role while also wanting to utilize their software engineering skills.

Your Impact

  • Managing a team of Full-Stack Software Developers, ensuring they are empowered to deliver solutions that meet user and business requirements - Developing staff capability and fostering a collaborative culture of continuous improvement
  • A Team player - We are a friendly and hard-working team – it’s important you’re a naturally interpersonal and team-focused person
  • Thorough understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS) products, services, and technologies
  • SDLC, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, DevOps, etc
  • Cloud, Data, Security, Compliance, Best Practices, etc
  • Experience working closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of web, mobile, APIs - latest technologies, and trends
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical skills and reporting
  • Play an active role in future recruitment

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Building rich full-stack applications using React or Angular for the front end and Node, Flask, Django, or Springboot for the backend
  • Has worked with different authentication standards such as oAuth 2.0, PKCE, Implicit Grant, and JWTs
  • Nice have but not required experience with React Native
  • Strong experience with cloud computing services such as AWS or GCP
  • Has performed as the technical lead to set security and application standards
  • Builds unique and innovative solutions using full-stack technologies and cloud-native services
  • Experience using Git and other system software
  • SOA expert (API, REST, etc) 
  • Excellent communication and diagramming skills to translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture 
  • Has performed penetration testing on full-stack applications and are familiar with standard application vulnerabilities such as Cross-Site Scripting+

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the starting salary (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) is expected to be between $155,200/yr - $228,200/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
