Developers on the Enterprise Web engineering team build and maintain the code that forms the ordering experiences for our clients' diners - we translate restaurant branding to digital experiences. We are a small, but mighty, team of smart, highly motivated engineers that place a high value on writing well crafted, maintainable code, and we take pride in the speed in which we work. We're growing extremely fast and taking on the exciting challenge of keeping up with new product development while scaling our services to support more clients.
The Impact You Will Make

• Provide technical support and opinions on decisions
• Translate product needs into wise choices
• Build and maintain large-scale, high-availability web applications with an active and growing user base
• Develop new user-facing features for our growing Web SDK
• Construct reusable components and front-end libraries for future use across our product suite
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Confidence writing UI, integration and unit tests to help increase and maintain our coverage
• Identify, triage and solve complex issues and problems in timely and efficient manner
• You will work with your team to monitor and ensure the health of the platform, which includes a 24/7 hour on-call rotation, to ensure a great customer experience.

What You Bring to the Table

• Extensive professional experience (+/- 5 years) with front-end web development, including command of a modern framework - React preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or ample real world experience
• Strong proficiency with Javascript, CSS, HTML
• Familiarity with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Experience with TypeScript preferred.
• Familiarity with a modern server side framework - Rails preferred
• Strong proficiency using and building RESTful web APIs
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
• Strong understanding of responsive design
• Distributed version control experience with Git
• Self-directed and responsible for deliverables of yourself and fellow team members
• Team player with excellent written and spoken communication skills
