We are looking for an experienced Sr. Front End Engineer to build critical tooling for our customers. If you have a passion for user experience and front-end development, this role will give you the chance to have immediate impact in a high-growth company. You will focus on building an intuitive and easy-to-use interface to assist logistics operations teams quickly configure integrations and send data to the project44 platform. You will be asked to contribute directly to the design and implementations of these new solutions. 

Key accountabilities: What you'll work on 

• Own & build the front-end of a UI that will serve as a management center for internal teams and customers to connect to and manage integrations to the platform 
• Create the framework for these new capabilities, including setting up CI/CD pipeline and automated testing 
• Create appealing responsive interfaces in React, in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment 
• Make intuitive “drag & drop” experiences that include creating, moving, and connecting elements and object in UI 
• Collaborate with UX designers and product manager in designing an experience that meets the needs of end users  
• Partner with other engineers in the team to provide feedback on backend service improvements and dependencies 
• Anticipating the differences in and coding for supported browsers and device platforms 

Requirements: The experience you should have 

• At least 2 years of experience as a Front-End Engineer 
• Experienced in semantic HTML and responsive design 
• Proficient in CSS Frameworks like Material Design or Bootstrap and preprocessors like Sass 
• Experience with React, Material UI, NestJS, Node.js, TypeScript or similar 
• Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks (such as TestCafe or Jest) 
• Impeccable eye for detail with the ability to match your UI to the design in a cross-browser environment 
• Consideration of performance, reliability, and scalability 
• Good with build systems and task runners like Webpack and Rollup 
• Awareness of the device and browser landscape 
• Strong focus on the User Experience 
• Empathy for the end user 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an affinity for problem-solving 
• Experience working in an Agile product team 
• Ability to self-manage during projects and proactively raise issues/concerns to the team 
• Learn and adapt to new web technology and incorporate into production process 

Nice-to-have: Experience you have or are very excited to master! 

• Experience in B2B enterprise software environments 
• Experience with data transformation and integration tooling
