Job Description
As a member of one of our Technology teams, you will contribute to building solutions that use natural language processing, cognitive computing, and artificial intelligence applications or the frameworks and infrastructure that support them.
The Senior Front End Developer plays a key role in building out features on a number of Interactions products, both internal and externally facing. The Senior Front End Developer will work on a team with other developers building features, addressing defects, performing code reviews, interfacing with stakeholders, and other aspects of the software development life cycle.
Job Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable, readable and testable code.
• Perform code reviews, making use of best practices and accepted standards
• Design and implement new features and codebase refactors
• Triage and address customer issues
• Deploy code frequently into production
• Effectively communicate within and outside the team.
• Work on an agile team to deliver high quality software iteratively
• Familiarity with agile best practices and automated CICD
• Embrace disruption and challenge the status quo

Qualifications Required

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• Experience in creating Front-End applications for highly scalable, concurrent, multi-tenanted, cloud-based solutions
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML5/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, jQuery, node.js), and JavaScript frameworks (i.e. React, Angular, Vue).
• Strong React and ecosystem skills
• Knowledge of databases (e.g. Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB) in distributed scalable models, web servers (e.g. Apache), and UI/UX design.
• Ability to write server side code in Node.js
• Knowledge of security concerns of front-end systems; authentication, authorization, and Role-Based Access Control
• Experience working with modern testing frameworks like Jest, Puppeteer, Cypress, Jasmine, Mocha, and TDD
• Experience with command-line utilities, build tools - Webpack, Grunt, Gulp
• Proactive, independent problem solver; addresses complex challenges with both focus and curiosity.

Preferred

• Masters Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• Exposure to machine learning applications
• Experience with GraphQL APIs
• Strong skills in server-side REST API development in node.js or other frameworks
