DUTIES: InterDigital Communications, Inc. seeks Senior Engineer in Conshohocken, PA, to Research, design and develop advanced networking protocols for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) systems for our company.

REQUIREMENTS: Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field: utilizing Hadoop related frameworks, including MapReduce and Spark to perform data mining, distributed computing, and stream analytics; utilizing development centric tools and technologies including, Resource Description Framework (RDF) / RDF Schema (RDFS), OWL, SPARQL, Triplestore, Sesame, Jena, and Semantic Web; working with commercial IoT platforms, including Amazon AWS IoT and Microsoft Azure IoT; working with 3GPP standards specifications, including architecture and protocols for devices, and core network and services, and writing proposals to apply technologies to 3GPP standards; and utilizing Unity Real-Time Development Platform to develop prototype systems. Any experience with the above skills gained during an internship is acceptable.
