Job Description:
JOB PURPOSE: To provide architecture solution services and counsel to digital and business driven projects and manage enterprise technology footprint. The position provides leadership direction and accountability for strategic application architecture plans, technology design and lifecycle, and information integrity by promoting reuse through Enterprise Architecture processes/reviews and standard compliance practices. A Sr. Digital Architect will determine and develop architectural approaches and solutions, conduct architectural reviews and recommend how to proceed with the applications (replace, retire, maintain, etc.)
JOB DUTIES:
Will develop data strategy, establish data standards, design data management tool strategy, and support overall digital platform architecture; Design large-scale Data Lakes and Enterprise Data Warehousing projects using on-premise and cloud native data warehousing solutions; Will develop, execute design, implement, and support end-to-end automated data processing; Extract, Tranform Load (ETL) pipelines using a variety of tools and technologies; lead data architecture development for Enterprise Scale Systems in public cloud and hybrid eco-systems; Implement Data Lakes, Big Data transformations, cloud data processing, SQL and NoSQL data modeling; Manage data modeling requirements for structured and non-structured data using various database management technologies.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area.
- 10 years of progressive experience related to data management, data integration, and data pipelines for relational SQL and No-SQL Database technologies (Postgres, Snowflake, Hadoop); Data transformation technologies (AWS Glue or Informatica) BI Tools (PowerBI or Tableau); DevOps technologies (Jenkins or Terraform), Cloud Formation and Public Cloud services AWS and Azure.
Alternatively will accept;
- Masters Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area and 5 years of progressive experience related to data management, data integration, and data pipelines for relational SQL and No-SQL Database technologies (Postgres, Snowflake, Hadoop); Data transformation technologies (AWS Glue or Informatica) BI Tools (PowerBI or Tableau); DevOps technologies (Jenkins or Terraform), Cloud Formation and Public Cloud services AWS and Azure.
