In this role: Do you have an appetite for keeping things secure, and a passion for cloud technology? Well then, this might be the role for you. Clearcover is on the lookout for a Security Operations Engineer who can fulfill a mission-critical role by helping to ensure that Clearcover’s applications, cloud infrastructure, and corporate environments are well-secured and monitored. You’ll spend your days expertly developing, deploying, and operating the security mechanisms inside of our AWS infrastructure, actively participating in incident response activities, and fearlessly guiding/leading mitigation strategies for vulnerabilities. A successful Security Operations Engineer will have a vast knowledge of security hardening standards and

vulnerability trends on Linux servers/containers, a strong understanding of data protection mechanisms (including encryption), years of experience securing cloud IaaS offerings in AWS with comprehensive familiarity with container orchestration platforms. You should have a shift-left mindset for security, an appetite for DevSecOps built on cloud and automation, and be able to play a powerful role in the design and execution of the security operations, processes, procedures, and runbooks.
