One way we’re supporting creators at Unity in San Francisco is by building a suite of products that help games developers and publishers build, manage, and grow live games. For example, we are building the next generation of Data Services that can process tens of billions of events a day and present insightful analytics to game developers and studios.

What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with your product team to deeply understand the needs of our users and clients and then plan, design, and build features that best serve those needs, demonstrating lean and agile methodologies.
- Developing components that could support large scale, high throughput systems that process tens of billions of events a day.
- Solving technical challenges with multi-disciplined teams building our analytics and data products.
- Ensure quality by developing features with the right combination of unit, acceptance and end-to-end tests
What we’re looking for
- Comfortable operating with a certain level of autonomy and accountability and desire to work in a team, learn from others, and help others to learn
- Experience in or a desire to work with data processing on large datasets using data warehouses such as Google BigQuery and Snowflake
- Experience in basic software engineering principles and interest in working on scalable, highly available, cloud-native systems
- Experience with a variety of testing and deployment strategies within data or software systems
You might also have
- Knowledge and understanding of the challenges that come with building distributed, highly available, and scalable cloud based systems
- Experience working with infrastructure as code, especially Terraform and Helm
- Knowledge of Kotlin, Java, C# or an object oriented programming language
