About the Team
The team is developing middleware, media and application development kit for html and native applications for Vizio tv platform. We work with product, vendor and app partners to make high quality products for our customers.
What You Will Do

• Working with product to get requirements and defining technical requirements.
• Understand the existing software and design and architect new features.
• Developing middleware such as state machine, application and resource manger, etc.
• Developing native application kit for html and native applications.
• Developing media player, player engine and media server.
• Integrating chromium browser with tv middleware.
• Handling issues reported by internal and external qa and customer care tier-1.
• Developing tools to measure the quality of products and finding defects automatically.
• Collaborating with vendor and partners.

About You

• 4+ years of experience in architecture & design, prototyping, software development & implementation plan, code review and unit testing for embedded devices.
• At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering.
• Very good experience in C, C++/C++11, JavaScript, JSON.
• Experience in Shell-Script, Makefile, Python, git, bug tracking tools.
• Experience in sdk, ndk, state-machine, application manager, Middleware, HAL layer, notification system, IPC, system programing, multi-threading, debugging/core dump analysis.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, Proactive and good team player.
• Media player developments, HLS/MPEG-DASH, MSE/EME, A/V codecs (H264, H265, AEC, DTS, Dolby Digital), A/V pipeline, TS, MP4, fMP4 containers, DRM (Widevine, PlayReady and FairPlay), dynamic ad insertion.
