Overview
Support functions which require automation/systems development. This includes initial development and ongoing support of the suite of applications that would help manage pricing, trading, hedging, pooling and shipping or other functions depending on the department. Additionally, this position will help support the existing suite of applications developed within PennyMac. Proficiency with Open Source/LAMP stack and .NET skill sets that would support the current IT development path is required.
Job Description

• Design and Develop Application Architectural Framework;
• Design application framework to support required business functionality;
• Develop Web application using MVC 5, C#.Net, HTML5, JQuery, Kendo UI, Entity Framework and MS SQL Server;
• Develop cloud based solutions using Amazon AWS tools EC2 instances, S3 storage, Elastic Cache and Lambda;
• Conduct System and Business Process Analysis and Review Design Documents;
• Contribute to documentation of program functionality as required by leveraging expertise to contribute to solution architecture;
• Interact with customers to understand their business functionality requirements and develop prototypes to get feedback;
• Product Deployment to Cloud Platform and Enhancements; Perform unit testing before deploying application to testing environment;
• Work closely with testing team to deliver high quality code supporting client deliverables and internal business processes;
• Define, Establish, Communicate and Manage Development Quality and Team Collaboration; Identify and mitigate potential bugs using different approaches including peer reviews and automated unit tests; and
• Provide key oversight to root cause analysis of issues and advise team on major issues to product quality.

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• One (1) year post-baccalaureate experience as Application Developer, Software Developer or related role. Experience must include Database Design, and portal development to MVC framework and Dotnet core using ASP.NET framework, jQuery Data Tables, JavaScript, AJAX, Boot Strap 4.5, and MVC 4.0.
