Job Description

However, we will not succeed in delivering our customers' desired outcomes without a robust partner ecosystem with leading partner solutions - that's exactly where this role fits. The Solution Architect will join our Partner Design Studio working with the Technology Partners within the Alliances & Channel Ecosystem (ACE) organization. ACE is at the forefront of driving ServiceNow's growth to $15B and beyond.
The Partner Design Studio aspires to build a culture of continuous innovation to drive profitable revenue through the identification, incubation, and monetization of breakthrough, market-leading partner solutions. The Solution Architect is an exciting role, central to how we ideate, cultivate, monetize, and scale new solutions that will fundamentally transform the world of work. We classify partner solutions as opportunities for a partner's IP to be coupled with the ServiceNow products and platform to create a net-new, combined solution. The Solution Architect will work closely with Technology Partner prospects and partners as well as ServiceNow partner account managers, product managers, and the entire ServiceNow community towards a common goal of technology partner and customer success.
The Solution Architect will be responsible for working jointly with partners and the broader Partner Design Studio and ACE team to assess, to qualify, and to carry new solution concepts through their end-to-end journey to solution launch.
What you get to do in this role:
- Lead architecture and design engagements with strategic partners to ensure technical success with the ServiceNow platform
- Cultivate new solutions on the ServiceNow platform by helping partners develop prototypes and demos to highlight our extensive capabilities and rapid time-to-market
- Coordinate feedback from the ServiceNow community to identify complementary opportunities for potential partner solutions to generate demand within the ecosystem
- Be a trusted advisor to ServiceNow technology partners building enterprise-grade solutions on the ServiceNow platform
- Evangelize ServiceNow platform technologies throughout our partner community via in-person events, webinars, blogs, community forums, sample widgets and social media
- Participate in the ServiceNow application certification process as a key technology representative of the technology partner community
- Identify, lead and contribute to the creation of best-known methods, white papers, workshops, etc. focused on the creation of partner solutions built upon the ServiceNow platform
- Help identify opportunities with key industry, buyer persona, and/or business imperative value-propositions and alignment
- Own the solution development end-to-end journey and associated outcomes
- Assessment, qualification, and intake of strategic partner solution opportunities
- Lead Solution GTM (Go-to-Market) framework
- Staying current on product developments/releases to provide guidance to Partners
- Forging trusted advisor relationships at the top levels at the Partner account
- Participate in and deliver Business Reviews with sales to aligned Partners
- Provide mentoring and training to peers and other colleagues within our organization
Additional Responsibilities:
- Help lead, build, and scale the ACE GTM Partner Design Studio Program
- Elevate the partner focus towards cross and co-selling solution opportunities with our partners and partner field teams
- Evangelize the power of the ServiceNow platform in transforming work across the partner ecosystem
- Work cross functionally to ensure Partner Acceleration, Partner Success, and other relevant internal teams are aware of and aligned to partner solutions

Qualifications
What you need to be successful in this role:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or similar technical degree or equivalent experience
- Understanding of software development practices, methodologies, and tools, including the software development lifecycle(SDLC)
- Excellent understanding of the architectural principles for cloud based platforms that include SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation
- Experience in designing, implementing and managing advanced architectures in an application domain and integrating systems or platforms
- Ability to document roadmaps with functional design elements in order to achieve desired solution outcome
- Strong facilitation skills, to encourage clear articulation of the business issues and effective solution design by the relevant players
- Ability to collaborate and interact at multiple levels (Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Offering and Solution Managers, Directors, VP's, and CXO's)
Experience that will help you stand out:
- Experience with the ServiceNow product suite or competitive product suites highly desirable
- A current ServiceNow certification (e.g. Certified Application Developer)
- ServiceNow platform development experience
- Experience developing on competitive platforms
- Strong oral and written communication skills; including process documentation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and project management, and organizational skills
- Solution or product experience at SaaS company, system integrator, or equivalent
- Understanding of Alliance and Channel ecosystem development, partner operating models and market dynamics
- Experience managing projects/portfolios and understanding project success
- Demonstrate the experience to lead in a matrix organization
- Solution or product experience at system integrator or leading enterprise SaaS company is a plus
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn through design thinking and execution
- Possess initiative, curiosity, sense of humor, and a "make it work" ethos
For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $149,242.5 - $246,307.5, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
