Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates the Next Generation Avionics (NGA) solution within Honeywell Aerospace. You will work across Integrated Product Team (IPT) disciplines to validate the Aircraft Data Network (ADN) solution and complete network design, integration, and verification activities.

Key Responsibilities
• Network design and analysis activities based on system and customer requirements
• Technical coordination with Integrated Product Teams and network technology suppliers
• Network integration and troubleshooting support
• System verification and robustness testing
• Network technology compliance testing against standard(s)
• Definition of network interoperability specification

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or Computer Science
• 6+ years of System Engineering experience

WE VALUE
• Experience with integrated modular avionics
• Experience with ARINC 664 and SAE AS6802 (Time-Triggered Ethernet)
• Experience with system development lifecycle guided by FAA/EASA requirements and ARP-4754A.
• Experience with Agile development processes
• Experience with IBM® Rational® DOORS® Next Generation requirements management tool and IBM® Rational® Quality Manager for test planning, test construction, and test artifact management
• Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and network data analysis test software
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional design teams including Systems, Software, Hardware, and Test
• Advanced technical writing skills and effective communicator
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Action oriented and self-motivated, with demonstrated leadership abilities
• Experience with embedded software (DO-178C) and test script development
• General understanding of Quality of Services (QoS) theory and techniques for Switched Ethernet
