Position will report to the CNS Sr. Project Engineering Manager. In this role you will spearhead and lead teams in the design, development and integration of highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace leading the development of CNS products with SW, HW, RF, & Mechanical content serving ATR, BGA and D&S markets. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 4+ years of Project Engineering experience in aerospace and/or manufacturing industry managing diverse programs consisting of both domestic and global team members
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Must be a US Citizen due to export control restrictions

  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages succinct and clearly, tailored for the topic and audience
  • Demonstrated Leadership Experience including driving teams to common goals, empowering teams, managing complex technical issues
  • Demonstrated communication, relationship and team building skills
  • Extensive experience managing medium to large programs
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting or beating project cost and schedule goals
  • Familiarity with Surveillance (Radar / EGPWS / TCAS) and Communication/Navigation Radio's products
  • Experience with participating / presenting at executive leadership debriefing's
  • Action Oriented / Self Directed: Works hard, full of energy; not fearful of acting with best data even if incomplete; seizes opportunities when they arise.
  • Ability to create, support and enhance specific action plans
  • Dealing with Ambiguity: Can effectively cope with change; decide and act without having the total picture; achieve success despite ambiguity; comfortably handle risk and uncertainty
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to discipline and application within the industry
  • Command Skills: Rapidly Assesses situation and decides on corrective action response.
