Position Summary

Brady is looking for an SQA Engineer to work with engineering teams to improve the quality of products being developed. The core purpose of this position is to execute the test effort on software development projects. You will be part of an engineering team designing and building embedded, desktop, web and mobile applications that will enable Brady to provide various solutions to our customers globally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our software and printer products
  • Participates in Scrum teams
  • Build test suites and test environments
  • Execute manual tests
  • Provide test results
  • Report and verify defects
  • Troubleshoot customer issues
  • Identify risks
  • Conduct root cause analysis of software, firmware and hardware defects
  • Interface with product and development teams to address bugs, enhancements and features.
  • Assist in support of customer questions or issues
  • Adopt test strategies that will help accelerate product development
  • Performs other tasks as required. Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, the duties listed on this job description


Required Knowledge, Skills Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 2 -3 years of experience with software development projects

  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle processes and methodologies
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Organized with attention to detail
