Splunk Engineer, Mid
Key Role:

Participate in the Deployment, Testing, and Operations, and Maintenance of the Sof tware Development Life Cycle ( SDLC ) . Provide operational support of the data and components within the Data Integration layer of a common data platform. Perform root cause analysis to address complex platform and data consistency issues, including data availability, completeness, accuracy, and currency. Interface with key stakeholders, including agency personnel and internal delivery and engineering teams. Analyze custom reports, dashboards, and apps to further advance the operational capabilities of the common solution, as needed. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with deploying, configuring, and performing functional testing and data validation in a Splu nk environment
• Experience with Splu nk and performing systems administration, including performing installation, configuration, monitoring system performance and availability, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Experience with designing, implementing, configuring, operating, or testing IT systems or security infrastructure
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience working in large federal agency environments
• Experience with Linux administration
• Knowledge of federal information security policies , standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems
• Bachelor's degree in IT Security or Engineering
• Splu nk , Red Hat Certification

Compe nsa tion:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $110,000 to $130,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
