About the team
You will be a part of the InnovationSpeed TrackTeam specifically focusing onaccelerating ideas.Theteamworksclosely in conjunction with the product delivery teams to enable them to accelerate their product modernization journey and buildinginnovative solutions. This role is highly challenging, yet satisfying,and providesa fantastic opportunityto lead the digital journey at FIS.
What you will be doing:

  • Converting concepts and ideas to working POCs
  • Design andDevelopment ofSolutions and POCs
  • Work closely with product and business teams in developing solutions
  • Setup and maintain demo labs to showcaseideasand FIS solutions to internal and external business executives
  • Wearing a customer hat during developing solutions


What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree inComputerScience or related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Post-graduate education preferred.
  • Curiosity and problem-solving skills
  • Be able to architect solutions using industry standard methodologies
  • Preferably having presence in industry network. Be on the forefront of interactive technologies
  • Familiar with agile and scrum methodologies
  • Good experience with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices, Excellent grasp of one or more of the following: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Terraform, Packer.
  • Cloud experience with Azure, AWS a plus.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes (AKS, Docker, EKS etc.) a plus.
  • You should be comfortable writing Jenkins DevOps pipelines using either Python or Groovy.
  • Since this role is not the traditional systems architect, a background in programming with current focus on Infrastructure/DevOps would make you an ideal candidate.
  • In terms of programming skills, Python is required, and PowerShell/Go/Bash is ideal.
  • Understanding and experience with Public Cloud (AWS and Azure) and Private cloud (VMWare) is recommended. Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Architect is ideal.
  • Experience with Linux (RedHat or CentOS) and Windows Server 2016 is required.
  • Expertise of using Kubernetes and Dockers for deployments in development,QA,and Production
  • Experience with Cloud native databases such as PostgreSQL,CosmosDBetc.

  • Azure and AWS cloud knowledge.
  • Mobile development using Android/iOS.
