Our Solutions Engineering team is growing and we’re looking for someone to help our most sophisticated users leverage Censys Data to track and understand threat actors on the Internet and enrich their own products. The right person is passionate about the cybersecurity landscape and not afraid of a startup.
As a member of our Solutions Engineering team, you will lead technical efforts for our Internet Data customers. You will help potential customers understand the value of Censys data from an investigative threat intelligence point-of-view by designing and implementing solutions with prospects in Proof-of-Value success plans.
You will collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to contribute directly to the product roadmap for Censys Search and Data using your interactions with prospects to gather data and feedback about the current offerings.
What you’ll do:
- Communicate clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical users
- Support our customers by assisting with workflow adoption and pain-point alleviation
- Drive success plans and POVs with Censys Data and Search opportunities
- Support efforts to author and maintain our user documentation
- Maintain up to date technical and functional knowledge of the the Censys platform including Search Data Provide technical expertise during the sales cycle
- Collaborate with all departments to improve Censys products from end to end
What you’ll bring:
- Knowledge of common network protocols: HTTP, SSH, SMTP, FTP, SMB, RDP, and basic networking concepts (e.g., IP addresses, BGP, WHOIS)
- Basic understanding of threat intelligence, how threat investigations are carried out, and how threat intelligence feeds are consumed by modern enterprises
- Understanding of TLS and X.509 certificates
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Passion to work at a start-up
