In addition to ensuring successful use of our platform, which features a unique data integration and collection engine, the Professional Services team is committed to leading our enterprise level customers through a seamless implementation and onboarding experience.
About the Job
As a Solutions Engineer, you play a critical role as a member of the project team responsible for the successful onboarding of our largest and most complex enterprise engagements. You will work closely with BlueConic’s Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, and Project Managers in providing world-class service to our customers. You will support BlueConic’s customers’ and partners’ developer teams as they implement our best-in-class customer data platform. As a member of our Professional Services organization, your priorities are to develop solutions for customer specific use cases which will require you to understand, communicate, and resolve complex configuration, data, and integration challenges from initial contact to resolution.
In this role you will:
- Become an expert in all things customer data and BlueConic, from our personalization and recommendations engine, our mobile SDKs, the fully integrated AI Workbench, to the dozens of integrations we provide out-of-the-box.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, as well as other Solutions Engineers on customer data integrations and complex implementations.
- Develop custom integrations and configure solutions for customer specific use cases.
- Ensure complex, customer-facing issues are resolved in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate product feedback from customers to our Product Engineering teams to improve user experience and suggest new product features.
- Partner with other technical stakeholders internally to identify bugs and software improvements.
- As required, provide assistance with creating documentation, writing knowledge base articles, and tutorials to improve customer experience.
- Participate in the QA process of current and new products/services.
- Interact with some of the smartest folks in the marketing technology ecosystem.
You have:
- A background in computer science and/or a technical bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with customer data platforms, digital analytics, personalization/tag management, campaign management, and/or web-based technologies
- 2+ years front-end development experience, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- At least 5+ years working in a customer-facing role, such as solutions consultant, customer success, or similar – ideally with marketers and for a SaaS-based platform
- Moderate understanding of relational databases or non-relational databases.
- 2+ years’ experience writing basic JavaScript, Python, XML, SQL.
- Spent a considerable part of your career in the martech space.
