The Solutions Architect, designs, implements, and maintains its application systems, security, and IT infrastructure. The Solutions Architect, provides an architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, security, and enhancement efforts, understands user and process requirements, and ensures those requirements can be achieved through high-quality deliverables. The Solutions Architect works closely with developers and engineers to develop road maps for applications, align development plans, and ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure to include security. The Solutions Architect monitors technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards and emerging business requirements. The Solutions Architect understands the interactions between security, systems, applications, and services within the environment and evaluates changes or additions' impact. The Solutions Architect analyzes systems and performs usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements. The Solutions Architect is considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline and conducts complex work essential to the organization. The Solutions Architect works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• 30%:Participateintheplanning,architecture,anddesignofcustomerprojects
• 50%: Develop and maintain the strategic IT solutions to address the future needs and plans for enterprise architecture, platforms, technologies, and tools required to sustain a high level of application performance
• 10%:Buildsstrongcustomerrelationshipsanddeliverscustomer-centricsolutions
• 5%:Cultivates innovation allowing for new and better ways for the company to be successful
• 5%: Collaborates well with cross-functional executive-level peers; able to drive decisions when consensus is lacking

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Related Work Experience: 8-10 years:

• PreviousArchitecturalExperienceofAdvancedIT Infrastructuresrequired with a focus on Security; DEVOPS, Cloud, Systems, and network architecture.
• Demonstrated workingknowledgeofvulnerabilityassessmentandpenetration testingtools.

• Experience with tiered architectures-e.g., Presentation, application, data with in a cloud architecture.

• This position is an individual contributor and has no supervisory responsibilities. Provides functional expertise through day-to-day work tasks. Works under the Supervision of management.

eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by your manager.
